Something To Remember You By

This is my nephew Lewis and his girlfriend Elizabeth. Lewis graduated from high school last month and is leaving to join the military next week.
It seems like only yesterday that he was eight years old running around his mother's and my apartment entertaining us with dance moves from his latest school recital.
Now here he is, 18, about to face the world, and he's in love. In a few days he will leave his home. He will also have to leave this love.
Only time will tell if Lewis and Elizabeth will stay together, but for now I hope this photograph serves as something they can hold on to when they can't hold each other.
